Continuing from Part I, these shots were taken on the first day we touched down in Taipei.

After touring the Chiang Kai Shek area, we dropped by the famous Smoothie House for some mango shaved ice which was perfect for the sweltering afternoon. We then headed to Yong Kang Street, which was full of nice boutiques and little cafes and eateries…they weren’t kidding when they said Taiwan is a foodie’s heaven.

One of my missions on this Taiwan trip was to really explore all the night markets, so we decided to visit Shida night market on the first night. It was pretty disappointing food-wise as this market had more shops selling clothes than legit Taiwanese street food, so we quickly got out of there and went to Ningxia night market. Good decision, since despite being a rather small market (we finished the entire place in around 30 mins), it was full of good food which made me really happy 🙂
